Cell C today announced the introduction of its first Cell C branded handset.
The Cell C F250 is packed with sophisticated features such as an MP3 player, Java applications and games, 2MP camera and video recorder, 15MB on-board memory and an integrated web browser with pre-loaded shortcuts to Facebook and YouTube for easy upload of pictures and videos.
Retailing at R399, Cell C’s Executive Head of Marketing, Simon Camerer says the company is providing customers from all income groups the opportunity to have access to fast and affordable voice and data communications.
“In addition to the handset, customers will also receive 200MB of data, 50 on-net minutes and 100 SMS’s once-off, when they activate their Cell C Welcomepack Sim Card.
Camerer said the handset which is manufactured by Huawei is UMTS900 compatible which will provide faster data speeds as it runs on Cell C’s HSPA+ 900/2100 network.
The Cell C F250 is available at all Cell C retail outlets.
