A spate of positive press devoted to Cell C proves that the cellular operator intends to make good on its promise of upping its customer service game. After winning the award for Best Mobile Broadband Service from MyBroadband.co.za, the Independent Communications Authority of SA (Icasa) recently revealed that Cell C’s network performed best during the World Cup.
Now Cell C is in the news again. According to MyBroadband.co.za, the latest statistics from popular consumer activist website, HelloPeter, indicate that Cell C is the telecoms provider with the best service levels all around. For the purpose of their report HelloPeter compared the compliment/complaint ratio of all the country’s telecoms operators. Over the past month the website attracted 23 219 user responses, the vast majority of which (90%) were complaints. Cell C was ranked first, followed by Vodacom and then Telkom.
