Christmas comes early for Cell C customers
As an early Christmas present to all their prepaid customers, Cell C has launched Woza Double, an enhancement to its popular Woza Wheneva, which now offers double the free minutes a person would normally get when they recharge with R10 or more.
“For every Rand you use to recharge, you receive the airtime paid for and double the number of free Woza minutes which you can use any time during the week. Free Woza minutes can be used all week, Monday to Sunday, so recharge early and take advantage of the free minutes anytime during the week,” says Cell C Executive Head of Marketing, Simon Camerer.
This promotion applies to all recharge denominations of R10 or more with customers able to get up to 100 free Woza minutes per week. More good news is that the customer will also benefit from cumulative recharges. That is, if a customer recharges with R5 on Monday and then another R5 on Tuesday in the same week, he will get the 20 extra free minutes after he recharges with the second R5 as the total is now R10, which is the minimum requirement.
“We want this promotion to be available to all our prepaid customers so with this in mind, we have structured the promotion with a low minimum recharge, which is only a third of what our competition is asking for in similar offers. We also want our prepaid customers to be able to use their free Woza minutes when it suits them, that’s why they’re not valid for just a day or two, but can be used all through the week,” commented Camerer.
The Woza Double promotionwill run from the 1st of December to the 15th of January 2011 and is available to Cell C prepaid customers but excludes LCR (Least Cost Routing) and CST (Community Service Telephone) lines.
