Wednesday, 9 February 2011: Last night marked the start of a whole new world in South African telecommunications - Red Bull MOBILE - an all-inclusive mobile package that is a joint partnership between possibilities provider Cell C and Red Bull.

Red Bull MOBILE is an innovative mobile offering, powered by Cell C’s new generation, superfast HSPA+ 900/2100 network and access to premium Red Bull content on a customised  smartphone.

The exclusive Red Bull MOBILE smartphones will already have a number of free applications pre-loaded, including Red Bull Music Academy Radio and Red Bull X-Fighters.

Each package offers a choice of two phones. The RBM C, RBM HD and Motorola MB525 are android smartphones and provide an exciting selection of downloads from the Android Market (www.android.com/market). These smartphones are powered by Google's Android operating system, the world’s fastest growing mobile application platform, which means users get access to more than 100,000 applications from the Android Store.

The RBM 100 package costs R149 per month (on a 24-month contract). The launch
Highlights of the invite-only launch included A-list entertainment with The Beat Bangaz, Goldfish, Black Coffee and hit international act, Faithless.
