How do I sign up for Cell C LOTTO®?

In order to sign up for Cell C LOTTO®, you'll need to provide your full name as per your RSA ID document and your ID number.

There are 2 easy ways to sign up for Cell C LOTTO®: 1. From your computer, go to cellclotto.co.za and click on 'sign up'. 2. SMS the word "Signup" as well as your ID Number, Name and Surname to 14777.

After you've signed up, you'll receive an SMS with your LOTTO® PIN, which you'll need if you want to play on the Web. Cell C LOTTO® Call Centre number: 011 083 7622.

How do I pay for my tickets?

Once you've signed up, a Cell C LOTTO® Wallet will be created for you. To buy LOTTO® tickets you'll need to deposit funds into your Cell C LOTTO® Wallet. You can deposit funds via an EFT, or at an ABSA, FNB, Nedbank or Standard Bank branch. Use your cellphone number as your reference number to ensure the funds go directly to your Cell C LOTTO® Wallet. If you deposit cash, the cash deposit fee that the bank charges you will be deducted from your Cell C LOTTO® Wallet.

How do I play?
  A) Cell C LOTTO® Wallet
 
  • Go to cellclotto.co.za. Then log in with your cellphone number and the LOTTO® PIN you received via SMS after registering. Go to "Play Games" and select LOTTO®, Powerball or Sportstake. If you've lost your PIN, you can call the Cell C LOTTO® Call Centre and they will assist you.
  • OR SMS your play to 14777. To play send game name, board number and selected numbers (always separated by a space). For example:

L QP 5 (Lotto, Quickpick, 5 Boards)

  The cost of the ticket that you play will be deducted from your Cell C LOTTO® Wallet.
There is a further transaction fee of R1 per ticket played.

What happens if I win?
  If you win, you will receive an SMS informing you how much you have won and your new balance on your Cell C LOTTO® Wallet. You can choose to have these funds transferred to your bank account, and/or keep them to play in the future. If you win above R50 000 you will receive an SMS to call the Call Centre to arrange your payout.
