Weekend Special Terms & Conditions
- It is important that if a customer chooses to participate in this promotion, such customer understands and agrees to these terms and conditions.
- Once a customer has joined the Weekend Special promotion ("Weekend Special promotion") they are entitled to receive the promotional benefits in accordance with the rules of the promotion.
- Upon recharge in the period of a week (Monday to Sunday), customers receive Weekend Special bonus airtime (in Rand value) ("Bonus Airtime') to use on the Saturday and Sunday of that particular week.
- Bonus Airtime can only be used for Cell C to Cell C calls, Cell C to Cell C SMS, Cell C to Cell C MMS and Data.
- Bonus Airtime cannot be used to: call, SMS or MMS numbers on other networks; any international usage or; any premium rated service (IVRs, content, subscriptions services etc.).
- The Weekend Special promotion is only available to customers who are on the 99 Cents For Real Tariff Plan.
- If a customer changes their tariff from the 99 Cents For Real Tariff Plan to any other Cell C tariff plan (All Day, Per Second or Standard), they will no longer be able to participate in the Weekend Special promotion and will therefore be removed from the Weekend Special promotion and will permanently forfeit any Bonus Airtime they have.
- The Weekend Special promotion is only available for prepaid customers to join. CST, 3G Schools and Flash lines are excluded as are any data packages, contract or hybrid customers.
- The promotional period commences on 15 October 2012 at 00h00 and terminates on 3 February 2013 at 23h59 and applies to specified customers listed in 8 above.
- Customers on the 99 Cents For Real tariff plan automatically participate in the Weekend Special promotion.
- Bonus Airtime will be awarded on the basis of a calculation, where the bonus airtime is equal to 100% of the value of the recharge. As an example, if a 99 Cents For Real customer recharges with R10 worth of airtime, such customer will receive R10 worth of Bonus Airtime to use during the Saturday and Sunday of that week in which the customer purchased the airtime.
- The period for using the bonus airtimes is the Saturday and Sunday in the week of the recharge e.g. if a customer recharges on a Tuesday, their Weekend Special promotion Bonus Airtime will expire on the Sunday of that same week at midnight. If a customer recharges on a Sunday, they will only have the Bonus Airtime available to use until midnight on the same day. Bonus Airtime expires permanently every Sunday at midnight and will not be carried over if the Bonus Airtime has not been used.
- When making a Cell C to Cell C call, sending a Cell C to Cell C SMS or MMS or using DATA during the weekend, the customer will first use their data bundles, All-In-One voucher value before their Weekend Special Bonus Airtime and thereafter will use their prepaid airtime.
- To check their airtime balance, customers should call *101# for a summary balance and *147# for detailed balances.
- Bonus Airtime cannot be transferred.
- Cell C may amend, modify or otherwise change these terms and conditions in its sole and absolute discretion on notice to you and the amended version will be displayed in the same media as these terms and conditions. Cell C will notify you before Cell C amends or otherwise changes the terms and conditions. By participating or continuing to participate in the Weekend Special promotion, you agree and understand that you will be bound by the amended terms and conditions.
- Cell C and any of its agents, directors or employees shall not be responsible in any way for claims, loss, errors or omissions in respect of data recorded or omitted to be recorded during the Weekend Special promotion or damage (whether direct or indirect) suffered by you or any third party arising out of the Weekend Special promotion.
- Cell C is entitled to extend or shorten the duration of the promotion in its sole discretion and absolute discretion and will notify customers if it chooses to do so.
