The Cell C Inanda Africa Cup is a unique knockout polo championship that offers an action-packed day with a display of exceptional horsemanship amongst competing teams from all over the African continent, with the closely contested and fast paced final witnessed by a premium audience of 3 500.

This year's tournament on Sunday 16 June 2019, returned to the picturesque Inanda Club, situated in the heart of Sandton, where the influential polo set witnessed a high-octane polo demonstration of talent and horse power in the dual for the coveted trophy. A day boasting fast-paced chukkas, complemented by an infusion of chic fashion, delectable food, the finest champagne and the temperate Gauteng winter.

This unique knockout polo championship offered an action-packed day with a display of exceptional horsemanship amongst competing teams from Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe, with the closely contested and fast paced final witnessed by a premium audience of 3 500.

The Cell C Inanda Africa Cup returned on Sunday, 26 August 2018, to the picturesque Inanda Club, situated in the heart of Sandton, where the influential polo set witnessed a high-octane polo demonstration of talent and horse power in the dual for the coveted trophy - a day boasting fast-paced chukkas, complemented by an infusion of chic fashion, delectable food, the finest champagne and the temperate Gauteng winter.

Cell C is proud to be the official headline Sponsor of the Inanda Africa Cup polo tournament, now named Cell C Inanda Africa Cup.

The Cell C Inanda Africa Cup is one of the most prestigious events on the polo calendar. It showcased some of Africa's most exceptional polo players represented by teams from Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The tournament was won by Zimbabwe reaching a score of 8 goals. Most Valued Player went to Lee-Ann Spark for displaying extraordinary sportsmanship and the highest game skills throughout the tournament.

Displays by the Rand Hunt Club, featured some of the finest hounds and show-cased their refined sense of smell, as well as the ever popular "Horse Vs Machine" race, delighted and captivated the crowd's attention. The head-to-head contest between Rosaly, the pony saddled by Inanda Club Polo Manager Craig James, and the 2017 LP ROUSH Mustang, was ultimately won by Rosaly.
