Individual Consumer Subscriber Agreement Terms and Conditions

    1.TopUp Data changes

    • 1.1. Nite Data has been included across all Postpaid and Top Up plans.
    • 1.2. There are no price changes to 500MB, 1GB and 2GB Data contracts.
    • 1.3. There are price reductions on the 10GB and 20GB Data contracts.
    • 1.4. There is a price increase on the 5GB package.
    • 1.5. The out of bundle rate remains unchanged at R0.99 per MB.
    • 1.6. The Contract Data changes are effective from 1 February 2015.
    • 1.7. All existing Data business rules apply.

  • 2.General

    • 2.1. All prices shown include VAT
    • 2.2. The Contract SmartData offers are available for a monthly fee, which shall include:
      • 2.2.1. a Cell C data enabled SIM card;
      • 2.2.2. Data which shall be equally allocated every month for 12 (twelve) or 24 (twenty four) months.
    • 2.3. Standard credit vetting process and business rules apply. These Terms and Conditions can be found at //www.cellc.co.za/terms-and-conditions or at a Cell C store.
    • 2.4. All standard Terms and Conditions of Cell C (Pty) Ltd and Cell C Service Provider (Pty) Ltd apply.
    • 2.5. Standard RICA process and business rules apply. These processes and business rules can be found at //www.cellc.co.za/about/rica
    • 2.6. Your connection speed will depend on the speed stick, router or device used, the coverage in your area and the network conditions.
    • 2.7. You will receive your first pro-rated Data bundle as soon as RICA is completed and the line is activated.
    • 2.8. The initial Data bundle will be valid until the end of that calendar month.
    • 2.9. New data monthly Data allocation will be loaded on the first of every month at 00:00:00.
    • 2.10. Bundles will expire at the end of every calendar month at 23:59:59.
    • 2.11. Data may not and cannot be transferred from one user to another or converted into Rand value.
    • 2.12. Upon expiration there shall be no rollover of unused Data to the following month or year.
    • 2.13. Once the 12 (twelve) or 24 (twenty four) months have expired, the account will default to a month to month basis and you can renew your contract and select an appropriate Postpaid Data plan.
    • 2.14. Once the included bundle has been depleted, additional Data usage will be debited to your bill.
    • 2.15. You will be billed at the end of the month for Data usage that exceeded the bundle amount.
    • 2.16. You can purchase Data bundles to add to your account.
    • 2.17. Standard Data bundle rules apply which can be found at //www.cellc.co.za/datacontract-packages
    • 2.18. The SIM card obtained when purchasing this Data bundle offer may be used for non-Data usage if such SIM is inserted into a handset. Non-Data usage shall include SMS, voice calls and MMS.
    • 2.19. Non-Data usage (Voice, SMS and MMS) shall be billed as per the Customer's tariff plan rates.
